Consumer purchasing decision and technology

View “Consumer Purchasing Decisions” and “Technology and Consumer Behavior.” Based on your review of this chapter, you know that consumers demonstrate specific behaviors as they work toward purchasing a specific product. In addition, the text points out that consumers can arrive at a specific buying decision based on previous experiences with a specific product, a newfound awareness of the usefulness of a particular new product, positive reviews form customers who have previously purchased the same product, etc. Based on your understanding of the consumer buying process, compare and contrast how the consumer buying process and the organizational buying processes differ. Illustrate your ideas with specific real-world examples. In replies to peers, discuss whether you agree or disagree with the way your peers have differentiated between the two buying processes.

Growth mindset | Education homework help

The assignment will focus on the instructional leadership role of a principal. Since the TTESS evaluation model is not a single snapshot but is a continuous growth model, a vital component of this model will be instructional coaching by the campus leader and/or teacher leaders (instructional coaches). As an instructional leader, you will need to have knowledge of best practices, tools, and resources to facilitate the improvement of instructional practices on the campus. The principal will also need to plan for and conduct crucial conversations to promote professional growth as well as collect documentation for personnel decisions. The principal will also need tools to help engage the staff in professional learning. When managing human talent, the leader(s) will need to observe classrooms regularly and provide resources, feedback, and support as needed to facilitate professional growth in the staff while honoring professional norms. The purpose of the assignments this week is to allow you to develop your background knowledge, skills, and tools in order to facilitate a teacher’s professional growth.

recommend a social media marketing strategy

For this assignment, you have these two options. Only select one to complete this week:

Option 1:

Assume that you have been hired as a consultant by the president of Cameron’s Coffee, a $40 million-dollar premium coffee manufacturer, located in Shakopee Minnesota (Petersen, n.d.). This is a real company, so you can easily research the company’s website and current social media presence. A search will also find articles written about the company. Please become aware of the firm’s current presence on social media so that your recommendation will be geared toward changing, enhancing, or improving that presence.

Option 2:

Select a company of your own choice to be the consultant for, such as the company you might currently work for. The primary selection criteria are that it should be a SME (small to medium-sized enterprise with approximately 500 employees or less), and it must have a limited social media marketing strategy at present or none at all. Please become aware of the firm’s current presence on social media so that your recommendation will be geared toward changing, enhancing, or improving that presence.

Assignment Criteria:

Once you make your company selection, address the following:

Your client, Cameron Coffee or the alternative firm you select, is considering investing significant financial and personnel resources into a more substantial social media marketing strategy. As the company’s consultant, your assignment is to create a social media market proposal in the form of an executive report for consideration by the company’s CEO and other top management. Design the strategy to help sell the company’s products or services, as well as boost the company’s image to customers (and potential distributors and retailers if their products are sold through a third party).

Research these subjects, and then prepare an executive report that provides the following:

  • Begin with an executive summary, including the general need for a social media marketing strategy for a firm like your client. Be sure to explain social media and social media marketing.
  • Recommend two social media platforms that you think will provide the greatest impact for your client for the money and resources they will invest, along with your reason for their selection. Your arguments will be strengthened if you provide examples of firms that have successfully pursued similar social media strategies.
  • Explain how each recommendation will resolve any issues and fulfill the company’s needs.

So, what is an executive report? Top executives are busy people, and they typically get numerous reports from people inside and outside their organizations, so when they read a report, they want clarity and conciseness. This is somewhat analogous to the famous “elevator speech.” What would you tell your boss if you only had a 10-floor elevator ride to explain your idea or project. In this case, you have a little more time and space, but you still want to grab the CEO’s attention and fully informing this individual about your proposal as quickly and clearly as possible.

Listed below are the items such a report typically contains:

  • A brief executive summary at the start of your social media marketing proposal – If it doesn’t grab them, they probably won’t read the rest.
  • An introduction to your report that quickly explains the reason and importance of your proposal.
  • A relatively brief explanation of the importance of social media marketing and the two platforms discussed in your recommendation.

Your specific social media marketing recommendations for two social media platforms. These should include the specific benefits each recommendation brings to the company.

Length: 3-5 pages, not including title and reference pages (chapters 3,8,9)

Films for Humanities & Sciences (Producer). (2014). Social media for business marketing [Video file]

Halula, W. (Producer). (2012). Advertising in the digital age [Video file].

Your assignment should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.

Discussion 2 | English homework help

  1. Can you imagine a case where a person (or group of people collectively) is simultaneously a rhetor and an audience for the same rhetorical situation? Have you ever been that rhetor-audience? Please share your story or imagined scenario. Alternatively, share why you think this is an impossible situation.
  2. Answer question 5 from page 510 of Writing About Writing (at the end of Grant-Davie’s explanation of rhetorical situations): “As a writer, how would it help you to be aware of your rhetorical situation and the constraints it creates?”
  3. Choose any other question from the end of Grant-Davie’s piece (on page 510), then answer it. Include the question with your response.
  4. Think about Tia Baheri’s post, “Your Ability to Can Even: A Defense of Internet Linguistics.” How does what Baheri have to say in her post reflect the primary threshold concept of this unit? (“Good” writing is dependent on writer, readers, situation, technology, and use.”) What connections can you make between this post and the things Downs and Grant-Davie have said about rhetoric in our textbook? When have you encountered ideas such as “the internet ruins language”? What are your thoughts about this idea?
  5. Name one concept from this lesson that you most struggle(d) to understand. What about this concept, term, or idea is troublesome? What do you currently think it means, whether you feel certain or not?

Answer at least 3 of the above questions with, at minimum, a 3-5 sentence paragraph. In-depth, thoughtful, and careful responses are encouraged. Be specific where possible. Label your answers or include the text of the questions so readers know which questions you are responding to.

When it’s time to respond to your peers’ answers, respond to at least two peers. Your responses should also contain a few sentences per question, at the least. Respond as completely as you can. One-word or generic responses are not appropriate here. Your responses should contribute something new to the conversation.

When responding to answers for the last question (troublesome concepts), please provide your understanding of the concept or idea that your peers struggle to understand. Perhaps the way you understand it (and thus communicate it) will be helpful for them. If you, too, struggle with that concept, let your classmate know they’re not alone. It may be that in discussing the issue together, you both come to understand the concept better.

Initial posts for a discussion can earn up to 15 points. Each answer is worth a total of five points:

  • Two of those five points are earned by providing, at least, a 3-5 sentence paragraph in the answer.
  • Two of those five points are earned by providing an on-topic answer that demonstrates honest engagement with the question and course concepts.
  • The fifth point is earned by labeling answers, whether with reference to the question number or by including the text of the question with the response. (For Discussions 4, 8, and 12, these points are freebies!)
  • For Discussions 4, 8, and 12, which have only one question, the above score is multiplied by three.

Responding to peers’ answers in a discussion provides for up to 12 points. You must respond to a minimum of two students to receive full credit, so each response is worth six points:

  • Three of those six points are earned by responding to all of the answers provided by your peer.
  • Two of those six points are earned by providing thoughtful responses that demonstrate engagement with your peer and their ideas. (Responses made of one brief sentence or an unsupported claim will not count.)
  • The sixth point is awarded for labeling responses to the answers, whether with reference to the question/answer number or by including the text of the question and answer. (For Discussions 4, 8, and 12, these points are freebies!)
